PRANAYAMA

“Pranayama provides a focus of the mind to draw inward and regulate the flow of prana(Life force energy).

The first limb yama means control or restraint

So Pranayama is to control the life force energy.

BREATHE pause BREATHE pause BREATHE pause BREATHE pause BREATHE pause BREATHE pause

I like pranayama because it gives me something to do. Something to focus on, and helps me to get to awareness and a place to observe without evaluating. It helps me understand and feel whats going on in my body and mind. It sheds light on the darkness within me, better working with it, so it works less against me.

Pranayama is also a way to feel into the void, or internal space within and experience how much room there really is.

It is an experience in self love, acceptance, and understanding to practice pranayama.

Thats why I like it.
