This is a post to avoid starting the blog series I want to start

I have been doing daily todo lists. They have been helping me accomplish the things I want, and help me move in a direction I’m happy with.

However sometimes it feels like I do them just to get a check mark.

This post is one of those. I wanted to start a bible study blog series.(story coming later)

I want to know, I want to educate myself. I don’t want to say I don’t believe in something that I never figured out for myself. I want to know why I do or do not believe in something.

I really enjoyed the yoga sutras and do believe after working through it that it can be a beautiful roadmap towards a “better” or “happier” life.

To relate. I had always said I’m not musical but I haven’t really put the time and energy into strings or cords or vocals.

I’m here today(tonight in Yosemite) to get a check mark. To accomplish a small goal that puts me in a direction I can see my life going but not knowing because it is a far way off or requires a lot of work. Put in the work, work it, and see what happens.

To quote Tex, a boss on the ranch I worked on for 2 years, “don’t just sit around and think about what you’d like to do, get up and do it”

Thanks Tex

Thanks everyone

Much love

A nice highlight from today was talking with a friend from middle and early high school who I haven’t talked to in almost 10 years. Farida and I swapped stories, caught up, laughed, got vulnerable, and enjoyed the time shared.

Connection is pretty darn cool.

I’ve created this space through years of work on myself, with the help of many amazing people. I’m so thankful my path has brought me here. Thank you for joining :)
