We are the same

I used to think I was different than everyone. That I had a different purpose. That I was supposed to save the world and others. That I was supposed to sacrifice myself for the greater good of the world and others.

I know now that is ridiculous.

The greatest good I can do is to persevere, to live my life to my fullest, to love, to grow and learn, and to be here now, not in my head trying to fulfill illusions.

I recently read Ethics by Benedict Spinoza, and it really helped shape my thoughts and make me think a lot. This isn’t book club or class so I’m not giving a lesson on him, but he is a philosopher from the 1600’s and he really provoked my thoughts.

I have also read Yoga Sutras and Yoga Anatomy.

2023 is wild so far. I LOVE IT.

Ive had benders. Ive put on weight.

Ive also held my longest handstand.

I’m embracing the waves.

IM ACCEPTING I DONT HAVE TO SACRIFICE MYSELF. I GET TO BE HERE. IM HERE NOW.

I’m human and we are the same. We are different because we are human. I love you just the way you are. Thank you for being here.

I want simply to live my life, feel all the incredible feelings, and be everything I am.

I am here now. Typing on my website that I’m beyond stoked to work on and use to give and add value to the world. I know this will benefit me. I’m stoked for that, I’m stoked to not let that change me for the worse.

I’m doing the work to get better everyday. At least in someway I get better everyday. Sometimes getting better is having to get worse.

I can do it. You can do it.

Your not alone.

I’m not alone.

Thank you to all the people supporting me and loving me.

Your life matters
